I washed my face to reduce the swelling around my eyes and stepped out of the room.

I headed to the living room, and there was no one there.

Thinking Alice had gone out with Devin, I decided to clean the kitchen.

I entered, and Alice trashed my food and cleaned the place. I was mad instantly.

AnitaI actually loved getting some insight into Susan’s thoughts! I feel for her now & glad she’s over Sylvester I’m hoping she fully embraces Devin & who knows her & Tamia could be friends considering Tamia had & Sue has very similar thoughts when being afraid of the future when it comes to fate.

Holly PoeI’m still on the ropes about Susan after this chapter but her wolf is right and she needs to stand up for herself and take action. I also strongly dislike Alice and really hope she gets out of the picture soon
abha yadavearlier i didn't like susan but after this chapter i know she was not at fault as i also went through depression all alone and not being able to share with anyone make it more hard and people just ask us to be normal how can one being normal when she/he is not normal at all. feel sorry for her
JessCThis chapter changed my mind a bit about Susan. My reason for disliking her is she seemed sketchy with everything going on. I hope she can open up soon about her depression and I hope Devin is willing to hear her and have more grace concerning her “gloom.”

DebFoI don’t understand why ‘Underwater’ needs so much advertising. It is a fantastic book in fact I want more of it, more chapters, updates. But as for Dark Fate Book 2 awesome, I’m glad to get backstory on Susan, I’m understanding more, suffering depression myself, she shouldn’t drink don’t need Alic

Karen Goetzke GrijalvaI really don’t like Alice! She might have a crush, but I hate how she treated Susan. Nothing makes it ok to be that way to others even if you think they are in your way. Susan didn’t do anything to her. I feel for Susan. I hope she gets a backbone and stands up for herself and gets her man.
