“I didn’t kill him because I don’t think his mistakes warrant such a grave punishment,” said Darius, whose hands were behind his back as he strolled toward Uriah. Then, he smiled and added, “But it’s obvious you’re displeased with my decision.”

Uriah lay on the ground, shutting his eyes and finally realizing how he had taken the wrong side this entire time. One could even say he was at fault from the beginning for doubting Darius.
