He looked Darius in the eye as he lifted his hand into the air and balled it into a fist. This seemed to be a signal for the bodyguards—they dashed toward Darius and encircled him.

To Darius’ surprise, they didn’t do anything else. He watched them mockingly, but all they did was slowly move around him in a circle.
