Lewis was Gary's executive assistant and the backbone of the entire presidential office.

Apart from Marilyn, he oversaw the work of everyone in the department. They all reported their work to him. Thus, he knew each person's job scope and progress like the back of his hand. It was as if he was doing the work himself.

Handing over tasks to a dozen people was time-consuming and difficult. However, when it came to Lewis, he completed his work in fast motion. Everything progressed at double speed. Before the end of the day, the presidential office had resumed normal operations.

After resolving all the issues, Lewis stretched his sore back and pounded it sporadically with his arm. Larissa looked up and offered without hesitation, "Do you need me to help with that?"

She said that out of instinct. She had forgotten to maintain her distance from Lewis.
