Hearing the word "hospital," Kevan tensed up as he came over to ask hoarsely, "What's wrong?"

Lewis forced Larissa to open up her palm. The scary cuts on her palm were exposed before their very eyes.

"It's not too serious …" Larissa smiled timidly, and she tried to take her hand back from Lewis. But she failed, of course.
