She opened the refrigerator to take out some eggs, and looked inside for a while before suddenly asking Larissa, "Did you finish eating the cake you made yesterday?"

"No?" Larissa wheeled herself over in her wheelchair. "I only ate a small slice and put the rest in the refrigerator. Kevan did not have dinner when he came back last night, so he probably ate some."

"Then where's the rest?" Violet opened the refrigerator further so that Larissa could see for herself. Pretty much everything remained the same as when she went to put the cake inside, except for the cake itself. They even searched every single trash can in the house, but they did not see any cake "remains".

This "mystery" was only solved after Kevan got home.

"Cake? I ate it," he said casually.

"All of it?!" Larissa was shocked.

"Yup." Kevan nodded before asking her in return, "Is there a problem?"
