Joshua and Nicole were about to finish school. Plus, Gale had to go to the company that day for a meeting. Gale hurriedly freshened up, changed clothes, grabbed her bag, and headed downstairs.

The housekeeper saw her and quickly said, "Ma'am, breakfast is in the kitchen. Would you like to have it now?"

"No, I can't. I need to go to work." Gale rushed out.

"How can this be? It's not good for your stomach." He followed her, continually saying, "If Mr. Wood finds out, we'll be reprimanded again."

Gale did not have time to argue, quickly walking out. "Just say I chose not to eat!"

"But Mr. Wood specifically instructed me to watch you eat something before he left to prevent you from starving and hurting your stomach."

"Ma'am, please eat a little. Or shall I pack it for you to eat on the way?"

Gale suddenly stopped. "You know I've been sleeping in the master bedroom, right?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Then why didn't you wake me up?"

He looked innocent. "Mr. Wood said you've been too tired rec
