The other end of the call was silent for two seconds before a muffled peal of laughter sounded. "It seems that you've been aggrieved tremendously by Brendan, huh, Miss Collins?"

Emily's temples bulged up. "Who are you?"

She furrowed her eyebrows tightly in extreme vigilance.

'How could this person know that Brendan has aggrieved me?'

"Don't be so anxious, Miss Collins. I don't bear any ill intention toward you. On the contrary, I'm here to help you."

"Help me?" Emily was inherently arrogant and refused to be associated with an evil person like this.
