As she was about to exit the restroom cubicle, she heard approaching footsteps. She then overheard a conversation between two women.

"So the woman who's here for a prenatal check-up just now is the wife of Wilson Birch, the CEO of the Birch Group?" one of the women asked.

"Yup. Her clothes are so modest. If you didn't know, you wouldn't have been able to tell that she's Wilson Birch's wife," the other woman replied.

"Is their relationship strained? They’re both at the hospital, but they didn't come together. Why did they come to the hospital separately?"

"I don't think so. If their relationship were strained, would Wilson Birch come to the hospital every month to draw blood? He even told the hospital not to tell his wife about it so that she wouldn't worry."

"He comes to draw blood once a month, right? I heard he has to keep doing it until his wife gives birth."

"Isn't that too dangerous? Is he gonna be okay?"

"Supposedly, he already signed a disclaimer with the hospital..."
