She rushed towards the source of the noise, and Connor quickly followed.

The roar continued to echo intermittently, as if someone was desperately enduring pain but couldn't help but cry out because the pain was too intense.

When Serenity and Connor reached the room where the sound was coming from, they heard a middle-aged man's voice say, "Mr. Valor, please calm down. Everything you’re seeing happened in the past..."

When Serenity rushed into the room, she saw Jackson lying on a white recliner next to Dr. Joseph.

Currently, Jackson was still under hypnosis. His eyes were closed, but something seemed off. He seemed to be desperately trying to grasp at something with his hands. His teeth were biting his lower lip so tightly that a trickle of crimson blood flowed down his chin.

"What's happening to Jack?" Serenity asked in panic. She had amnesia herself, so she had some understanding of hypnosis and knew that a normal hypnosis session wouldn't result in the way Jackson was behaving.
