On the way back, Xander asked in a puzzled manner.

Rosalie felt a strange feeling in her heart as she thought of how her foot got injured. However, when she spoke, her tone was cool and indifferent. "It’s nothing. I went for a trip two days ago and was accidentally scratched by a conch."

Xander, who was not clear about the entire story, could not help finding it funny when he heard her reason. "I didn't expect that a person like you who’s so strict during work would be so careless in private that you’d be scratched by a conch."

Rosalie pursed her lips and smiled. "What can I say? I’m surprised myself."
