The lights in the backyard were switched on.

The children were playing football outside. Estie lifted her skirt as she struggled to follow behind the brothers. She did not manage to kick the ball once, but she still laughed from ear to ear.

"Mommy!" Nox kicked the ball toward the door, and when he saw Rosalie come out, the boy was startled.

As soon as Rosalie stepped out, a ball was flying toward her. She was stunned.
