Magdalene overheard the ruckus and thought that her daughter was losing her temper again, so she hurried over to try to appease her.

Just as she walked to the door, she saw her husband almost strangling their daughter to death!

Magdalene felt her legs go weak and rushed to free Wendy out of Henry's shackles.
