Serenity withdrew her arm from her husband’s grasp.

Zachary was not pleased.

She whispered, “Kevin and Sonny are here.”

Zachary looked at Kevin and his nephew.

Kevin scooped a spoonful of food for Sonny. The little man had a problem with using his utensils and was oblivious to the matter between the adults.

“Sonny, are you able to get it? How about I feed you?”

Acting as if nothing had happened, Kevin asked the little man without looking at Serenity and Zachary who were across the room.

Sonny turned down Kevin’s offer to feed him.

Serenity picked a cupcake for Sonny and put it on his plate. “Have a cupcake, Sonny.”
