Gwynn walked into the living room in the Templeton villa.

The Sargents looked displeased. After all, they saw Noah earlier.

Grayson’s mother, Dulce Sargent, didn’t hide the fact that she was extremely annoyed. Her tone was mean and nasty when she spoke.

“We’re sincere in asking for your hand in marriage, Gwynn. It’s one thing if you have opinions on my son, but you can’t humiliate him by mingling with a shady man!”

Then, she grunted in displeasure and added, “What the hell is this?!”

Gwynn rested her gaze on the gifts and said dryly, “Firstly, Noah isn’t some shady character. He’s my ex-husband! Also, I broke up with Grayson a long time ago. There’s no such thing as asking for my hand in marriage. Take these things back. I won’t accept them, nor will I patch things up with Grayson.”

Dulce felt mortified when she heard what Gwynn said.

Raising her voice, she spoke in a much harsher tone. “Watch your tongue, Gwynn! You should’ve felt honored that my son is willing to take you b
