Gregory meant to take a dig at Zoe. He smiled and said, “Zoe’s here too, Mason!” Mason was fiddling with a lighter and did not respond. Gregory took that as a sign that Mason no longer cared about her. Thus, he turned to greet her.“Hey, Zoe!”Zoe took a look at him and decided that Gregory had ill intentions. However, Leslie was right there. She had to be considerate to her employer, so she went over to greet him. Zoe was half-drunk. Mason took her to the parking lot and opened the door of his car with one hand. He signaled for her to get in, but she refused. She was drunk, but she had not completely lost her senses. Leaning against the door, she raised her head and said in a husky, slurring voice, “I’m not going home with you, Mason! We’re getting a divorce!”He towered over her and glared at her with unmoving eyes. She was bewitching when she was drunk. He had never seen her like this. A champagne silk blouse and trumpet skirt were supposed to be elegant outfits, but they ended up bringing out her feminine charm.Every curve on her body seemed to be inviting men to caress and own her. Mason leaned into her ear and gritted his teeth, “Look at yourself. What part of you resembles a decent lady now?”Zoe raised her head and looked at him. Her eyes seemed to have cleared up a little, but became muddled again soon. Giving up on talking sense into her, Mason roughly shoved her into the car.

Holding her neck with one hand, Mason gripped the back of her with the other and pulled her toward him. Their foreheads were touching one another, and so were their noses and lips. His hot breath made Zoe tremble slightly.She was a little entranced. Deep down somewhere, however, she felt that something was not right. She should not be doing this with him. Just as he was completely turned on, Zoe leaned in and whispered in his ear, “When are we going to get divorced, Mason?”He stopped, pinched her tender cheeks, and forced her to look at him. Zoe’s face was red, giving her a touch of sultriness. She looked at him quietly and muttered unconsciously, “Do you want to know something, Mason? I don’t love you. Not anymore!”She repeated it several times. Mason was displeased. He pinched her chin and stared at her for a long time before uttering, “Do you think I care about that?” Indeed, he did not need to. It was dawn. Mason was the one who woke up first. It was too hot. His bathrobe was all wet from his sweat because he was holding something hot. Opening his eyes, he saw Zoe. Her face was abnormally red. She was burning up when he touched her cheeks!He rose immediately and went downstairs to relay orders to his servant. “Give Dr. Lionel a call and have him come here now.” The servant asked, “Are you feeling unwell, Mr. Mason?”He was already rushing back upstairs, but he stopped and said, “Just tell him to come here as soon as possible.
