Grace replied honestly, “The public relations department is in a tough spot. They’ve come up with one solution, and that's for you to announce that you and Ms. Yanni have reached a mutual divorce agreement.

"This way, the issue can be shifted from a legal and ethical standpoint to a personal matter. The public will likely lose interest after a few days.”

Gael was silent for a while before speaking hoarsely. “After all this time, this is the best they could come up with? I can’t make that announcement. I’m not going to divorce Yanni.”
