He added, "I'll talk to Andy about it later, and once he approves, you can start working there."

Elly finally smiled upon hearing his offer. She looked at Eric and replied, "Startups are facing challenges these days, and you have other business partners to consider. While I'm skilled in finance, it may not be right for you to hire me."

She continued. "Even if Andy agrees, I don't want any tension between you two because of me. Trust is crucial among partners."
