Eric pointed at the two certificates on the table and exclaimed, "This is crazy... Where did he come up with such a wild idea?"

Elly had a tough time in her previous marriage because Craig didn't respect it, and he wasn't faithful. And now Andy seemed to treat marriage like a joke?

Sylvia smiled wryly and said, "They say people do silly things when they're in love. I used to doubt it, but now I understand."

Seeing Andy walking over in dejection, Sylvia asked, "Andy, how did you come up with this... mind-boggling idea?"

Andy looked at Eric, seeming helpless. "I learned it from Eric..."

This astonished Eric. "Andy! I didn't suggest this idea to you! Don't pin it on me, or Elly will blame me!"

Andy quickly clarified, "I didn't mean that. When Elly told me about her past marriage, I thought she might be worried about it. So, I thought she wouldn't be worried if I were also married and divorced."

Andy then asked, "Did I do something wrong?"
