"I forgot," Eric said, looking embarrassed. As he reflected on the situation, he realized he had not allowed Grace to speak.

Sylvia glanced at Eric and offered, "I can accompany you to King City once I'm done with my work in the next two days."

Sylvia was known for her aloofness, but she became warm and caring when she opened up to someone.

"Let's discuss it later," Eric replied. "I don't want to disturb her right now."

He noticed a lot of food left on the desk and frowned. "Hurry and finish your meal! You might get busy again!"
