Joseph drove a couple of blocks in silence, ignoring his sister's questions and parked in a nearby area, all to think more clearly about what the girl's father had revealed to them.

"This doesn't make sense" Joseph mused and was drowned by the situation, so he tried to find help from his sister. "Lexy did not come to work today and her father says it was ..."

"Joseph, Lexy is a young woman, maybe she was partying last night and stayed at someone else's house ..."

"Didn't you hear he said he wrote him a note? Lexy did come home last night,” he thought, joining tracks.

Emma laughed and narrowed:

"What the hell are you so worried about?"

"Because she's going to marry a bastard who hits her!" he screamed in rage and squeezed the handlebar angrily.

"And what is the part that bothers you? What is she going to get married or her boyfriend hitting her?” asked the cunning young woman and looked at him intently to press him.

"Both," Joseph acknowledged, and fell apart on the sofa in the car.
