Chapter 15

Brennan lunged to reach her before she fell completely to the ground, and cursed under his breath, for now he had two unconscious and wounded fools.

He carried Rhiannon into the main room first, then carried Aidan upstairs and laid him down beside her. He couldn't be running from room to room so they were going to have to suck it up. If they woke up and killed each other for sleeping in the same bed, he won’t be the one to blame.

He cleaned and disinfected their cuts, and bandaged them as best he could. Although the wounds were not fatal, the situation was still serious. Serious and very strange.

“Your eyes are going to pop out from looking at him,” he heard Rhiannon's soft voice said and came to her side of the bed. “But he's not going to heal any faster just because you look at him.”

“He doesn't look like he is healing at all,” Brennan murmured with a sigh.
