Milo reflected on her words. Although he didn’t like the idea of letting the scam continue, he understood the logic behind her proposal.

“You’re right. If we just fire them, they might escape consequences and continue causing harm elsewhere. We need to catch them and make sure they pay for what they’re trying to do.”

Anja nodded, relieved that Milo was willing to consider her point of view. Unfortunately, neither of them had any idea of what consequences this plan might bring.

“Tomorrow morning, I’ll ask Jhon to get me in touch with a trusted police detective. We’ve worked with several, but the ones I know are all from Organized Crime, and we need someone from Fraud.”
